Google said: “Since views are so important, it’s no surprise that an ecosystem of businesses has evolved around artificially helping creators get YouTube views, likes, and subscribers.” Unfortunately, the route Google has decided to take with YouTube’s security measures have opened the door to a more dangerous ecosystem, known as “YouTube Competitor Blasting”.
YouTube Competitor Blasting is a term created by Escalate Internet in February 2014 – it is the new ecosystem of buying YouTube views. In Google’s endless quest to stop people from purchasing fake views for YouTube videos, they have created an entirely new ecosystem. Companies such as Escalate Internet have provided thousands of customers with the ability to buy YouTube views.
Google has always fault to prevent services such as ours from working – and we totally understand why they would do this. They don’t want anyone to beat their system. We understand that and it’s completely okay with us. They will find a way to stop us from providing YouTube views and then we will simply find away around it. It’s like a game of cat and mouse that will never end.
But YouTube has done something extremely dangerous now. Since February 2014, YouTube has been aggressively deleting videos that receive “fake views”. It’s important to note that they are deleting what they consider to be fake views. Escalate Internet provides real views from real users. We have never had one of our customer’s videos deleted from the methods we use.
So what exactly has YouTube done? Well, they’ve created a new ecosystem that we’ve coined with the term “YouTube Competitor Blasting”. Around 90% of our customers who purchase YouTube views are interested in real views for their own videos – which we certainly provide them with. Can you guess what the other 10% of customers who buy YouTube views are interested in?
The other 10% of customers do not want real views and they do not want the views for their own videos. They purchase completely fake views for videos that belong to their competitors. These purchased views are normally sent though the use of bots and known proxies. They are meant to set off YouTube’s automated security algorithm. They are meant to get videos deleted.
Unlike social media websites such as FaceBook or Twitter who simply remove likes and followers, YouTube will actually delete the entire video from their website! What does this mean for Internet marketers? The goal is to get your YouTube video to the top of the search results for specific keywords on YouTube and Twitter. In the past, this actually required a decent amount of work.
The problem YouTube had with this method is that it often required people to buy more views for their videos since the number of views is a factor used to determine the ranking of the video. This is is where it starts getting interesting!
What is YouTube Competitor Blasting? It is the process of having your competitors videos removed from YouTube in order to have your own video take their spot in the search results on YouTube and Google. This is done my increasing your own videos views slower in order to increase it’s ranking and at the same time blasting your competitors with tons of fake reviews.
In our experience, we can have videos removed from YouTube in under 24 hours. All you have to do is send the video 50,000 fake views in a single day and it will trigger YouTube’s security system to have the video removed for receiving fake reviews.
This is dangerous for YouTube users because YouTube has now given their competitors the ability to force videos to be removed. Imagine if your video was ranked on the second page of YouTube for a specific keyword. All you would have to do is send fake views to the top 10 videos and suddenly you’re ranked in the #1 position! YouTube has given people the ability to do this by enforcing such strict guidelines for removing videos. YouTube Competitor Blasting hurts legitimate users of YouTube by causing their videos to get removed!
This blog post has not been written to endorse YouTube Competitor Blasting, although it was a term created by us. While some of our customers use this method, many of our customers only buy real YouTube views, likes, comments, and subscribers.
But we are strongly urging Google to reconsider the security system at YouTube for monitoring fake views. They’ve made it too easy for competitors to delete videos. Their system hasn’t prevented us or any of our competitors from continuing to sell video views. It hasn’t stopped people from buying video views. It has only caused legitimate videos to get deleted by competitors who want to outrank them.
